I graduated in 2022 from LSR, University of Delhi, in Statistics. During my final year, I was at a crossroads about whether to prepare for placements or start with CSE preparation. I decided not to sit for placements owing to my persistence in CSE. Post which I got through the prelims in my second attempt, clearing the cutoff for both CSE and IFoS. But when the results for CSE Mains came, I couldn't find my name there. That shattered my confidence, and then I decided that it was high time to transition and move on from this never-ending cycle. Meanwhile, I worked as a mentor at a coaching but, but it was not working for me. Thankfully, I came across Rebounce on Telegram. The space resonated with me because I wanted to be part of the impact space and also try to leverage my background. Being a part of the cohort, I learned all the relevant soft and hard skills, and most importantly, I gained back my confidence that it was still possible. The resume session with Jigyasu helped my dull CV become relevant to the kind of opportunities I was looking forward to. Further, the interview preparation with Akshat helped me understand the psyche behind connecting the job description and my profile to answer the questions. I learnt market-relevant skills for case frameworks and research papers in CFC and APPL sessions. I am eternally thankful to the Rebounce team for starting this initiative to help out candidates who wish to transition. To anyone who's deciding to prepare for CSE, always remember that this exam should never be anyone's Plan A.

My name is Meghal, and I hold a Master's degree in Economics from Panjab University. Post-graduation, I dedicated four years to preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination. Although I couldn't clear the exam, the journey instilled in me resilience, discipline, and a deep understanding of socio-economic issues. After UPSC, I pursued an MBA in Business Analytics from Canada, hoping to realign my career with a data-driven, strategic direction. However, despite gaining technical knowledge, I still felt directionless and uncertain about how to translate my diverse experiences into a focused career path. That's when I came across Rebounce, and it proved to be a turning point. The mentorship I received helped me introspect, identify my core strengths, and integrate a structured thought process into my decision-making. Rebounce didn’t just offer career guidance it provided clarity. It helped me connect the dots between my academic background, civil services preparation, and business analytics expertise, transforming uncertainty into purpose. Today, I work as an Analyst at the Quality Council of India (QCI), where I apply my analytical and policy understanding to real-world challenges. Rebounce’s support was instrumental in this transition, and I’m deeply grateful for the mentorship that helped me rediscover my path with confidence and clarity.
