2. Services Offered

Rebounce provides mentorship, career guidance, cohort-based learning programs, and other related services to individuals — including, but not limited to, ex-UPSC aspirants and career-changers — looking to transition into public policy, political consulting, data science & AI, and allied corporate careers. The specific services offered are outlined on our website and may be updated periodically at our discretion.

As a user of our website, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information. When filling out forms or providing information, ensure that all details are accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Use the website lawfully. You will not use the website for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the site or interfere with any other party’s use of it.

4. Rebounce Placement Programme - Policy & Participation Guidelines

4.1 Purpose

The Rebounce Placement Programme (“Placement Programme”) is designed to support committed and prepared candidates in securing relevant roles across public policy, political consulting, development consulting, CSR, fellowships, and allied domains.

Rebounce works closely with partner organisations that trust us to recommend serious, motivated, and professional candidates. This trust is central to Rebounce’s ability to create opportunities for current and future cohorts. To protect this trust and ensure fairness to all participants, the guidelines in this Section 4 apply to every candidate enrolled in the Placement Programme, and participation in the Placement Programme constitutes acceptance of these guidelines.

4.2 Scope of This Policy

This Section 4 applies only to:

  • Roles shared as part of the formal Placement Programme; and
  • Roles where Rebounce is directly coordinating with the employer or acting as a referral partner.

This Section 4 does not apply to:

  • Roles a candidate identifies and applies to independently; or
  • Roles shared in open Rebounce communities (e.g., WhatsApp or Telegram groups) that are not tagged or designated as part of the formal Placement Programme.

Candidates remain free to apply to such roles without any restriction under this policy.

4.3 Before Applying

Before applying to any role under the Placement Programme, a candidate must:

  • Apply only if genuinely interested in the role and willing to see the process through end to end;
  • Carefully review, and be comfortable with, the role’s location/relocation requirements, responsibilities, compensation structure, employment type (internship/contract/full-time), and eligibility criteria; and
  • Raise and resolve any doubts or constraints with Rebounce before applying.

Blind, speculative, or casual applications are strictly discouraged and may affect a candidate’s standing in the Placement Programme.

4.4 After Profile Shortlisting

If a candidate’s profile is shortlisted by a partner organisation, the candidate is expected to participate sincerely and professionally in all subsequent stages of the process (interviews, tests, assignments, discussions, or otherwise), including through timely responses.

If a candidate withdraws after being shortlisted, or stops responding or otherwise does not participate further in the process for any reason, the candidate will be removed from the Placement Programme with immediate effect and permanently, and access to the Market Readiness Programme (MRP) will be discontinued permanently.

4.5 After Receiving an Offer

Acceptance of an offer made through the Placement Programme is treated as a professional commitment, and the candidate is expected to join the organisation as agreed.

If a candidate accepts an offer and subsequently rejects it, or accepts an offer and does not join, the candidate will, with immediate effect: (i) be removed from the Placement Programme, and (ii) permanently lose access to the Market Readiness Programme (MRP).

4.6 One Person – One Offer Policy

To ensure fairness and equal opportunity among candidates:

  • Each candidate may be placed at only one organisation through the Placement Programme; and
  • Once placed, a candidate may not apply to any further roles under the Placement Programme.

4.7 No Endorsement or Due Diligence by Rebounce

Rebounce’s collaboration with, or referral of, any organisation under the Placement Programme does not constitute, and should not be construed as, Rebounce having conducted or vouched for any due diligence, background check, or assessment of that organisation, its roles, its work culture, its financial standing, or its overall legitimacy. Such collaboration reflects only that Rebounce facilitates an introduction or referral between the candidate and the organisation.

The relationship and engagement between a candidate and any organisation to which the candidate is introduced or referred under the Placement Programme, and all terms governing that engagement, are governed solely by the contract, offer letter, or agreement executed directly between the candidate and that organisation. Rebounce is not a party to any such contract or agreement and has no role, responsibility, or liability whatsoever in respect of it, including in respect of its terms, performance, or any dispute arising from it.

The responsibility for conducting appropriate due diligence on any organisation and the role(s) it offers — including, without limitation, its credibility, work environment, compensation terms, and legal standing — rests solely with the individual candidate who chooses to pursue or accept that role. Rebounce shall not be liable for any dispute, loss, damage, or grievance arising from a candidate’s engagement with any such organisation.

4.8 Rationale

These guidelines are consistent with standard practice across serious campus, fellowship, and professional placement programmes. They exist to maintain trust with partner organisations, ensure fairness to committed candidates, protect opportunities for future cohorts, and ensure that the time and effort invested by Rebounce and its partner organisations leads to genuine outcomes.

Rebounce invests significant time, relationships, and credibility in creating these opportunities. In return, candidates are expected to engage with professionalism, honesty, and respect for the process, their peers, and the organisations involved.

4.9 Consent to Use of Testimonials and Marketing Material

Where a candidate is successfully placed through the Placement Programme, the candidate agrees and consents to Rebounce using the candidate’s photograph(s), written testimonial(s), and/or excerpts from written communication (including WhatsApp or other chat exchanges) between the candidate and Rebounce’s founders or team members, as marketing and promotional material.

Such material may be used by Rebounce on its website, brochures, social media handles, and any other similar platforms or channels, in each case at Rebounce’s discretion, without any further consent, notice, or compensation payable to the candidate. A candidate who does not wish to be featured in such material may inform Rebounce in writing, following which Rebounce will make reasonable efforts to exclude the candidate from future use, without affecting material already published.

5. Testimonials and Use of Recorded Content

Where a written or video testimonial is recorded from any individual — including a person whose placement or career outcome occurs outside the formal Placement Programme described in Section 4 — with the prior consent of that individual, Rebounce reserves the right to use such written or video testimonial for sales, marketing, and promotional purposes across various channels, including but not limited to Rebounce’s website, brochures, social media platforms, and any other similar platforms or media, at its discretion.

This Section 5 applies independently of, and in addition to, the consent described in Section 4.9 above in respect of candidates placed through the Placement Programme.
